Granola and yogurt with fruit for breakfast (recipe in March blog)
Eli's favorite, puuro (pronounced boo-do-wah)  translation: oatmeal.
It's cheap and healthy with raw sugar or honey.
Another favorite-Quaker Oats and Honey granola bars (cheaper at Costco)

....Gardening....

Anyone else dreaming about harvesting a garden?
I always get nervous this time of year, wondering if we will actually get the garden planted and will it grow-?

I planted seeds in the house this year and so far more than half are still alive.  Besides saving $ on buying the plants its kind of fun to see them grow and have greenery in the house.  I also planted a few herbs, wondering if they need bigger pots to grow better?

I think it's a must to have manure in the garden.  Ours actually started growing when we finally got some a couple years ago.  Also, lots of sun is needed.  These darn trees keep growing on the city land and shaded our old garden.

If our garden totally fails, I have a back-up plan.  My neighbor said she would share if I make her some bread.  Actually, I'm not really that worried about it. We were just talking out BARTERING  in this economy.  Which I totally love.  What do you enjoy or can do that others need or want?

I love comments!
